A poorly known thermophilous lichen that grows on basic silicates was originally described in Hungary as Lecanora praeradiosa Nyl. Its distribution in the Czech Republic in insufficiently known due to its difficult identification. The revised specimen (in UPS herbarium) found in 1958 on granulite rocks in valley of the Jihlavka river (Vězda, Lich. Sel. Exs. 197, as Lecanora alphoplaca) probably correspond to the species. In contrast, records from diabases in central Bohemia, according to the molecular data (Malíček, unpublished), refer to extreme forms of L. alphoplaca or L. radiosa.
