Umbilicaria polyphylla (L.) Baumg.

Thallus smooth, upper surface dark brown, lower surface black. On various siliceous and volcanic substrates, on well-lit or half-shaded rocks and stones. One of the most common Umbilicaria species in Europe as well as in the Czech Republic. Scattered to locally abundant from lowlands to mountains, but most often at middle elevations.
