Bellemerea diamarta (Ach.) Hafellner & Cl. Roux

A ferrophilous lichen characterized by a rusty orange areolate thallus and black apothecia which turn lead-grey when wet. It grows on iron-enriched siliceous rocks in the mountains. Its overall distribution range is circumpolar arctic-alpine. In the Czech Republic, B. diamarta has long been known from the Obří důl glacial cirque in the Krkonoše Mts, and it has also been recorded on the Kozí hřbety, recently. There are also records from the Šumava and Hrubý Jeseník Mts.
