Biatora vacciniicola (Tønsberg) Printzen

Mountain, arctic-alpine sorediate representative of the genus, known mainly from branches of various shrubs and young trees. In the Czech Republic, it has been reported only once, on stems of Vaccinium myrtillus in a mountain spruce forest in the Mt Praděd in the Hrubý Jeseník Mountains. Since it is inconspicuous and usually sterile, most probably it has been overlooked and its occurrence can be expected also in other higher mountain ranges.
