A species from the C. citrina agg., currently included in the genus Flavoplaca. It has a thallus composed of small, yellow-orange squamules. To date, it is known from the Czech Republic only from few localities, where it was found on basalt and anthropogenic substrates, especially on concrete. It prefers warm and sunny locations.
