Caloplaca ammiospila (Wahlenb.) H. Olivier

A species with a grey thallus and red apothecia, currently classified in the genus Blastenia. It usually grows over bryophytes on base-rich or calcareous soil and rocks in alpine habitats. It is a relatively common lichen in the mountains of Europe and Asia. In the Czech Republic, however, the only reliable records are from Petrovy kameny in the Hrubý Jeseník Mts, where the species has been collected repeatedly, most recently in 2026. There, it occurs in a very small population in crevices of calcareous phyllite and directly on the rock surface.
