Candelariella viae-lacteae G. Thor & V. Wirth

A species characteristic by its grey granular thallus contrasting with yellow lecanoroid apothecia. It is an epiphyte, growing in nitrophilous communities on bark of deciduous trees, less often also on conifers. It is one of the rare Submediterranean lichens. There are only a few localities known in central Europe. In the Czech Republic, it has been found only on oak bark on Děvín Hill in the Pálava.
