Pannaria rubiginosa (Ach.) Bory

A very decorative cyanolichen with blueish-grey rosette thallus and red-brown apothecia. It grows on moss-covered bark of deciduous trees. It is one of the typical suboceanic species that are very rare in Central Europe and linked to well-preserved areas with abundant rainfall. The only reports on its occurrence in the Czech Republic date back to the 19th century, but these are just unspecified mentions; herbarium specimens collected in the country are missing.
