Pterygiopsis concordatula (Nyl.) P. M. Jørg.

A cyanolichen with a dark cortex, cracked to areolate thallus and black apothecia. It grows on occasionally inundated siliceous or slate rocks at water current banks but also at places with frequent water seepage. It is a rare species in Europe, mainly in its western part (Jørgensen 2007). It was first published from the Czech Republic only recently (Thüs & Schultz 2009), specifically from the Krkonoše Mts, where it grows on crystalline limestone, contrary to its usual substrate ecology.
