Schismatomma umbrinum (Coppins & P. James) P.M. Jørg. & Tønsberg

Usually, a sterile lichen growing on siliceous overhanging rocks. It prefers shady and humid habitats. In Europe and in the Czech Republic it is rare and probably often overlooked. Schismatomma umbrinum is known from middle to higher elevations of southern, western and northern Bohemia, recently also in the Beskydy Mts.
