Stereocaulon evolutum Graewe

Stereocaulon evolutum is characterized by ephemeral primary thallus, flattened phyllocladia and grey tomentum on pseudopodetia tops. It grows on exposed siliceous rocks and stones. Its distribution is mainly Atlantic. The species is rare in central Europe. In the Czech Republic, it has been collected from several localities in the Jizerské hory Mts, Šumava Mts (Jezerní stěna, Černohorský et al. 1956) and Hrubý Jeseník Mts (Vozka).
