Thelopsis melathelia Nyl.

An arctic-alpine lichen, forming crusts on moribund bryophytes and detritus on calcareous rocks. It has pear-shaped black perithecia and reddish thallus. Rare in the Czech Republic, found only in a few localities with calcareous phyllites above the upper treeline (Velká kotlina, Jelení hřbet, Studénková hole) in the Hrubý Jeseník Mts (Vězda 1968), also confirmed recently.
