Anema nummularium (Dufour) Nyl.

A rare thermophilous species characterized by distinct, radiate, ± branched lobes on margins of the button-like squamules. Some authors define this species broadly and include the taxon A. notarisii. It is a lichen with centre of distribution in the Mediterranean, extending to suitable habitats in central Europe. Like other genus members, it seeks sun-exposed, periodically watered, limestone or other calcium-enriched rocks. In the Czech Republic, the species is known only from the conglomerate rocks in the protected area of the Krumlovsko-Rokytenské slepence and the Český kras Karst.
