Bilimbia fuscoviridis Anzi

This dark green to grey-green crustose lichen with light green soralia, rarely producing apothecia, usually occurs sterile. It is a saxicolous species, found typically on shaded calcareous rocks. In the Czech Republic, it occurs from lowlands to mountains. However, it is most common in highlands, in limestone rock rich areas, such as the karst regions of Český kras and Moravský kras. Additionally, it grows on basic and nutrient enriched siliceous rocks. It has relatively sporadically been reported from central Europe, probably because it is partly overlooked.
