Clauzadeana macula (Taylor) Coppins & Rambold

A small, subcosmopolitan saxicolous species that prefers smooth superficies of rocks with high amount of quartz. It occurs on exposed outcrops or on boulder screes. In the Czech Republic, the species has been recorded at higher elevations of the Krkonoše, Šumava and Jeseníky Mountains. The most often mentioned reference in the Catalogue of Lichens in the Czech Republic (Sýkorová 1996, cf. Vězda & Liška 1999) actually contains excerpted report from the Bavarian Forest (the Bavarian part of the Šumava Mountains).
