Micarea parva Coppins

A pioneer forests microlichen growing on small siliceous stones. It is a very tiny species and its distribution and ecology are poorly known. In the Czech Republic, it has been reported only from two forest reserves (Žofínský prales and Hojná voda) in the Novohradské hory Mts so far.
