Umbilicaria deusta (L.) Baumg.

The only Czech Umbilicaria with brown isidiate thalli. On acidic silicates, well-lit stands but primarily in biotopes with humid microclimate, such as bases of rocks and stones near rivers and streams or stones and rock outcrops covered with long-lasting snow cover. One of the most common Umbilicaria species in Europe. Distributed primarily in mountain and boreal areas. Submontane to montane in the Czech Republic. Rarely also recorded at middle and lower elevations.
