Gyalidea fritzei (Stein) Vězda

A small microlichen, characteristic for inundated acidic stones in cold mountain water courses and springs. It is known only from a few Czech localities: a few in the Krkonoše Mts and one in the Jeseníky Mts (Vězda 1958, as a Gyalecta lecideopsis var. fritzei). Recently, the species has been confirmed only in the upper part of the Úpa river in the Krkonoše Mts (Halda et al. 2016).
