Scytinium plicatile (Ach.) Otálora, P.M. Jørg. & Wedin

A cyanolichen with a relatively thick, often isidiate thallus, with a poorly differentiated upper cortex. It grows on various types of calcareous rocks, often in seepage tracks, more rarely also on soil. In Europe, S. plicatile is scattered to locally abundant. In the Czech Republic, it is mainly found in warmer areas of river canyons and karst areas.
